After g multiple sportsbook deals with international DFS content providers such as Draft Kings and Penn National, sports betting operator, Kambi, is extending its live event coverage to Cambodia.
The multi-year agreement with NagaWorld will include live sports coverage at two leading venues in the country and strengthen retail cooperation, the report reads.
Moreover, the entertainment group is planning to improve its selection of live events and build a sustainable year-on-year sportsbook growth, which it has enjoyed since 2014.
Due to its location in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, Nagaworld’s deluxe 5-star resort is required to meet an increased demand of its many customers, meaning that Kambi’s luxurious suite of market retail products, along with “16 intuitive self-service betting terminals” should provide the adequate service and eventually cash in the majority of sports betting turnover.
Chief commercial officer of the group, Max Meltzer, said: “We are proud to be extending our deal with NagaWorld, an agreement which highlights the positive impact Kambi’s modern and entertaining retail service can have on casino properties.
The NagaWorld sportsbooks have delivered consistent growth since collaborating with Kambi, and we look forward to continuing to enhance NagaWorld’s service offering to its sports betting customers to the benefit of both companies for years to come.”
At this year’s G2E (Booth 2230), Kambi will introduce its “comprehensive suite of retail solutions” but the company is also going to present its spectrum of online solutions, vital for reaching long-term sportsbook objectives.
Two months prior to its expansion to Southeast Asia, Kambi took crucial steps towards sports wagering on American soil by opening offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Currently, the operator’s platform is available at SugarHouse, Parx and Rivers casinos. According to Max Bichsel, the company’s US sales director, it is important for the consumers to know which leading sportsbooks have partnered with the brand in these jurisdictions.
Bichsel adds:
“For now, Kambi also has a lock on all online Pennsylvania sports betting, because SugarHouse, Parx, and Rivers Casinos are the only Pennsylvania casinos licensed to take internet bets. That will change later this year, when industry heavyweights FanDuel and William Hill-US go online in Pennsylvania.”
In a recent interview, Meltzer revealed that Philadelphia is “a sports mad location” with great potential due to its ion for knowledge, technology and sport. Some of the best universities in the world are located there, and it’s the combination of these details that is vital for the market. Kambi’s presence in Philly is all about setting up a unique identity and developing great environment.
The company’s sports betting partners find this strategy remarkable, and adding a top-tier, 24/7 service to Philadelphia is going to be a top choice in the months.
