Connecticut is another US state for which the beginning of this year was very successful. During the first month of 2022, this state had a net gaming income of as much as $18.8m, which is 15.6% more than the net gaming income recorded in the last month of the previous year.
After the promotions, the income was $3.6m, while before the promotions, the figure showed a total of $22.4m.
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribe contributed as much as $11.1m of the total $18.8m in sports betting revenue while the Mohegan Tribe was responsible for the rest of the earnings – $7.7m.
Online gaming was also popular, but not as popular as in December. In January, punters invested $780m in online gaming, down 4.2% from the previous month.
The most popular casino was Foxwoods Resort Casino, which is owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe in which players have invested as much as $502.5m. However, although it seems like a high number, this is a drop of 4% per month.
The second favorite during January was Mohegan Digital. In this facility, clients left as much as $277m in stakes.
At the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe’s Foxwoods Resort Casino, mobile gaming took place, contributing as much as $440,460.
The players were lucky during January, winning as much as $757.3m. However, a decline of 4.6% on a monthly basis was certainly noted.

The state has been enriched by $3.3m paid from online gaming income which is as much as 15.2% more than in December.

$7.4m was only from online sports betting GGR. This is an increase of as much as 17.6% compared to the last month of 2021. On the other hand, online staking was as high as $149.3m.
$1.0m had to be paid to the Connecticut, which is an incredible 60.8% more than in the previous month. Mashantucket Pequot Tribe’s Foxwoods Resort Casino brought in $635,480, Mohegan Digital ed with $333,522, and The Connecticut Lottery Corporation with $ 60,020.
