It was revealed in an official announcement that the world-famous hotel and casino, Marina Bay Sands, will receive an additional fourth tower quite soon.
A stunning integrated resort located in Singapore, consists of three towers and the bridge that connects them all together…
…while the fourth tower is currently still in the works.
But, it looks like gambling services will not be included in this tower, as was stated by company executive, George Tanasijevich.
President and Chief Executive Officer of the Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation…
…pointed out that the plan of the company is not to build a new casino, but to bring more customers to the current one.
The Singapore government has also officially approved the company to expand its operations in the two casinos, but have on the other hand put higher taxes on their gambling revenue.
By doing so, the government would most likely receive an additional $6.65 billion by the end of 2030, which is a significant boost for Singapore’s state wallet.
The construction of the brand-new, fourth tower will start soon…
…and allegedly will cost around SGD4.5 billion.
The new tower will include a huge arena with 15,000 seats, 1,000 ultra-luxurious suites, and a sky roof terrace as well.
But, there will be no casinos included or any type of gambling operations in the new building.
Instead of that, the company believes that new guests from the fourth tower would increase gambling operations in the current casinos located in the other three towers.
Company officials plan to expand the current gambling space in Marina Bay by 13.3%, which would then bring an additional 17,000 square meters of space to the current casinos.
As Tanasijevich stated, the company wanted to make use of the current gambling venues that are located within the three towers to increase gambling revenue…
…instead of constructing a brand-new casino in the fourth tower.
Since they want to take their current gambling operations to another level, increasing the size of the casino space is a logical turn of events.
At the moment, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore contains 2600 hotel rooms and regularly all those rooms are nearly booked. The occupancy rate is somewhere around 94% and 99% at any point in the year.
The company officials also announced that around 63 existing suites will also go through a reconstruction process, but it will begin somewhere at the end of the year.
It is still unknown when the construction of a new tower will commence, but the company will certainly try to build the new tower as soon as possible.

Man, I certainly don’t understand where they’ll put the fourth tower. The current ones look massive.
