Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas, one of the most prestigious awards in the iGaming industry, has announced the shortlist for its 10th annual edition, which will be held this October.
The companies that entered the shortlist will be ed in a very short time, and the general public will have an insight into the shortlist already at the beginning of September.
The prestigious award celebrates its 10th birthday and is one of the most renowned of its kind in the industry, which is rewarding operators as well as suppliers for their performances in the last 12 months, with a focus on the Americas.
Three Global Gaming Awards are held every year including the flagship event in Las Vegas, an event in London in February, and the GlobalGaming Awards Asia-Pacific, which was held already in May, and rewards the best companies from the APAC gaming industry.
“Very well done to all the companies that have made this year’s Shortlist for the Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas,” said Julian Perry, Editor-in-Chief of Gaming America and Gambling Insider.
“Those who have received a nomination should be extremely proud as this means they are one of the ten best in their field in what is probably the most competitive market in the industry.
“We can’t wait to share the good news with all shortlisted companies and most of all, we can’t wait to celebrate everyone’s achievements this October in Las Vegas. This year we’re also celebrating the 10th edition of our event, so it’s extra special for us,” he added.
The Global Gaming Awards has 15 separate awards including for the Land-Based Operator, Digital Operator, Land-Based Industry Supplier, Customer Loyalty Program, and Sportsbook Supplier among others.
They are known for their rigorous voting process and the shortlist was decided by over 100 of the industry’s leading executives after reviewing self-nominations submitted by companies.
Every company can be nominated one time per category, so if a company has several brands only one can be nominated in one category.
The winners will be decided on October 9 at The Venetian Las Vegas. One executive per company will be invited to the voting process but tables can be booked on the official website where everyone will be able to enjoy the ceremony. Also, it will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend, as well as for everyone else who wants to watch the event.
Event sponsors include BetConstruct, IGT, Bragg Gaming, Spribe, Aristocrat Gaming, Interblock, Light & Wonder, Play’n GO, Novomatic, CasinoTrac, EGT and Kambi.
One category awards individuals – American Executive of the Year. The shortlist for that award will be announced next month on Gaming America’s website.
