Kindred Partners with Hard Rock Atlantic City

Swedish betting company Kindred Group has found a kindred spirit (pun obviously very much intended) in the recently opened casino institution that is Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

The representatives of the two businesses have signed a partnership agreement that will last for five years with an optional extension for another five years.

Baptism in Fire

This will mark Kindred’s first foray into the US sports betting and gambling market, and what a way to begin! This step was some time in the making and gained a crucial nudge forward after the Supreme Court ruled against PASPA, effectively letting all the US states decide their own fate regarding sports betting…

…While August is proving to be a busy month for the company which has just completed their Swedish license application. Also, Kindred has officially opened a brand-new technology hub in Madrid that should serve as a scouting ground for international talent and will the company’s global projects in general.

The brand has every reason to feel motivated and confident in lieu of these mega ventures because their revenue figures are showing that year-on-year profit rose by incredible 31% in second quarter.

SVP of Kindred US, Manuel Stan, was excited to share the news: “This is a very exciting moment for Kindred as we have been working hard to take this first important step into what will most likely become the largest betting market in the world. I’m also delighted that we have been able to team up with a true lifestyle and entertainment brand and I am confident that Kindred and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will give New Jersey customers an absolutely great sports betting and gaming experience.”

Fingers Crossed

Hard Rock Resort & Casino was Atlantic City’s largest project in more than a decade, as the multi-million venue opened its doors to the public on June 28th, along with another big name, Ocean Resorts Casino. Having completed numerous new gs and partnerships with the likes of NetEnt, and Evolution Gaming, Hard Rock Casino did not offer sportsbook as part of their service initially…

…but now, the company’s officials are hoping that the combination of Hard Rock’s first-class lifestyle image and Kindred’s state-of-the-art innovation and data analysis will make all the difference.

“Hard Rock is proud to partner with one of the fastest growing operators in the industry”, comments Kresimir Spajic, SVP Online Gaming at Hard Rock International. “We are hopeful that Kindred’s international experience and commitment to innovation will translate to a significant success in New Jersey.”
