Kindred Signs Deal with Mohegan Sun Pocono

Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino has signed an official partnership deal with Kindred Group about launching both online and offline legal sports betting in part of Pennsylvania.

By doing so…

The facility will become the only place in northeastern and central Pennsylvania that offers an opportunity for wagers to place their legal sports bets!

Their customers will not only be able to bet in the casino but will be able to use an online betting option as well.

“We’ve aligned with one of the best online casino and sport book operators in online regulated markets which will allow us to offer best in class experience to our existing customers as well as attracting new ones,” said Aviram Alroy, Vice President of Interactive Gaming at Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment.

“Introduction of the Kindred offering to the market is a great positive for Mohegan Sun as well as the state of Pennsylvania,” Alroy added.

A Bit about Mohegan Sun

Mohegan Sun Pocono is a racino located in Plains Township on the outskirts of Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania. The casino features over 2300 slots and live tales for blackjack, roulette, and poker…

…as well as harness track that is a major attraction on the property. The site is owned by the Division of Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority of the Mohegan tribe.

Partnership with Kindred Group

According to the official statement, the land-based facility has signed a five-year deal with Kindred Group. Of course, there is the possibility of the extension for two additional five-year deals.

Kindred, previously known as Unibet group, is an online gambling operator which consists of 11 brands (online casinos, and sports betting as well.

Sports Betting in Pennsylvania
