Thunderkick Partners with LeoVegas and PokerStars for Ontario Launch

Successful Swedish gambling operator, LeoVegas, has named its new Chief Marketing Officer. It’s Dersim Sylwan, formerly of Kindred Group, where he served in the role of general manager for over six years. Three of those years he spent in Sweden.
He was also the head of the Maria Casino brand in which he was in charge of for some 18 months. He was the casino’s country manager in Sweden as well.
Sylwan, who ed Kindred in 2013…
…was employed by Svenska Spel for two and a half years where he was a brand manager and a project manager for mobile at the same time. He was working on Oddset business.
His wealthy resume also includes being a marketing manager for bwin’s Nordic region poker market and a spell at Entraction where he was marketing manager for 24hrPoker.com.
He will be replacing interim Chief Marketing Officer, Petra Blixt…
…who has been in this position on an interim basis since May. She was appointed to this position in October as part of a shake-up in the department. Blixt will continue being the interim CMO until Sulwan officially s the company.

In spite of being heavily fined by the UK Gambling Commission…
…the brand has reported a prosperous first quarter of the year in which their revenue reached €86.3m in the first three months of the year.
CEO, Gustav Hagman, gave a thorough remark on this result:
“We are seeing positive effects from our highlighted focus on efficiency and cost control within the group. We continue to work on renegotiating supplier agreements in gaming, payments, and marketing, among other areas, where we are benefiting from our size and position as one of Europe’s leading casino operators.”
A Playtech Group company and a famous gaming provider, Quickspin, has signed a new agreement with the brand regarding the delivery of their titles in Denmark.
Its Danish site will feature most of the best-performing games in Quickspin’s library, such as Hall of the Mountain King and Durian Dynamite. Along with the games, Danish customers will gain much from their gamification tools.
