Stakelogic Partners with L&L Europe to Expand Its Reach in the UK, Malta, and Sweden

World-renowned casino operator, MRG (MrGreen), has been granted two iGaming licenses in Sweden – online casino one for sites Mr Green, Redbet, Vinnarum and Bertil and bingo license MamaMiaBingo.
MRG already has licenses in the UK, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Latvia and Malta, whereas a Swedish license was granted via Evoke Gaming Ltd. and Mr Green Ltd. subsidiaries.
MRG’s CEO, Per Norman, comments: “We welcome the Swedish regulation and are looking forward to offering a superior experience in our Green Gaming environment. We are especially happy about the strong emphasis on responsible gaming in the Swedish regulation since Green Gaming has been part of our strategy since the start of the company ten years ago.”
Sweden’s completely revamped gambling scene is due to go in full swing on the first day of New Year, after months and months of careful planning and preparation…
…A major portion of which went to a process of selecting the iGaming license applicants, which were quite numerous. December, being the final month before the market’s relaunch, brought us plenty of novelties of this kind.
The country’s regulatory body, Lotteriinspektionen, was kept quite busy all throughout, but as it appears Sweden’s gaming landscape won’t be any less exclusive and jam-packed with leading brands than any upscale global market.
For one, the Swedish Gambling Authority has approved Kindred Group’s license application in late November, with the CEO of the company stating that “this was a historic moment for Kindred.”
Another industry high-flier that will present their expertise to the Swedish audience is LeoVegas – their application was among the first ones to be met with warm reception by the regulator. They will run online casino and a sportsbook.
Global Gaming and Videoslots were also among the newly licensed operators granted entry to the country.
As for MrGreen, it is considered that they are currently exploring options with William Hill regarding the sale of the brand to the UK betting giant corporation, who wishes to break the ties with United Kingdom in the wake of Brexit economic scare.
They would acquire both Mr Green and Redbet brands as a part of the package. Currently, as a result of planned MRG operations, William Hill is reviewing over 100 job positions in Leeds and London, with some redundancies expected to happen, but with people mostly relocated to other positions.
Regarding the merger with MRG, William Hill CEO Philip Bowcock stated: “William Hill will move from a single brand to a suite of brands that can maximise growth opportunities moving forward in new and existing markets.”

It wouldn’t be the same in Sweden without MRG!
