In what can only be described as coming together of greats, the renowned Swedish gambling company William Hill.
The news of this deal comes only several weeks after a similar agreement was signed by NetEnt and Penn National Gaming in USA. This time, their footprint will be increased on the regulated market of Great Britain.
The specific nature of this partnership, which is set to begin immediately, is that NetEnt will be delivering a very wide selection of their live table games to William Hill – the UK bookmaker will benefit hugely from developer’s full portfolio of networked games such as blackjack.
NetEnt will make UK their ‘priority market’ following the confirmation of the deal with one of the biggest online casino – one of the reasons why technical integration of these games has already been completed and the games are already available to William Hill .
The developer explains that their live games are “all about the player experience”, as they seek player and interactive development process in order to meet the demands from players. NetEnt Live also contains useful marketing tools via tailored campaigns for acquisition and retention.
NetEnt Malta Ltd.’s MD, Henrik Fagerlund, comments: “I am very proud that William Hill has selected NetEnt for the delivery of Live Casino network tables. Having our games with one of the biggest live casino operators in the world is a great recognition of our Live Casino product. I’m certain that William Hill players are going to enjoy our games and the new features it brings.”
William Hill’s Head of Live Casino, Barry Lennon, underlined his company’s “strong legacy in offering live casino” and their desire to provide players with the best games on the market.
He added: “NetEnt has an innovative approach to live casino games and we are happy that we now will be able to provide those games to our players.”
Stockholm-based provider has formed several formidable partnerships and deals that have seen them radically expand their reach globally. In October, they partnered up with Svenska Spel prior to relaunch of Swedish regulated market in 2019.
Also, thanks to teaming up with a gaming operator Churchill Downs, they have entered the booming market of New Jersey.
William Hill, on the other hand, seems to be in the middle of a supposed acquisition of another giant gaming operator, Mr Green, for the suggested price of $308 million.
