Over 70% of Germans Stand Behind the Proposed All-Out Gambling Reform

Löwen Entertainment, a Novomatic Group subsidiary, has commissioned a brand-new survey whose aim is to investigate the German populace’s general mood towards the regulation of gambling.

The study’s results suggest that 71% of people who responded are in favor of all forms of gambling getting a single regulatory framework and are, in general, ing the idea that different verticals’ individual regulations could be replaced by a uniform, federal system.

Still Prone to Errors

The survey was conducted to gauge the sentiment of German citizens towards the State of Treat on Gambling and its core objectives…

…after June 20, 2021, which is when the Amended State Treaty on Gambling, in effect since July 1st, will expire.

Dr Danial Henzgen, Löwen Entertainment executive committee member and representative for policy and external relations, says: “The results of the gambling survey clearly show that we need attractive legal offers in all forms of gambling, otherwise the flow into the black market will never dry up.”
