Play'n GO Announces Remastered Cats and Cash

Play’n GO’s classic video slot, Cats and Cash, has just been polished, remastered and refurbished for new ages! OK, it’s not like this game hails from a totally different era, but we’ve already stepped into times when slot games are ripe for treatment needed to meet new demands such as cross-device experience. The supplier recognizes that and has begun a series of re-designs on its slot games, beginning with Cats and Cash.

The 5-reel, 15-payline slot was released back in 2012, and a lot of things have changed in the last six years technology-wise, so this is a good and frugal move by the developer. For starters, the game has been converted from Flash to the contemporary industry staple HTML5, making the game compatible with the new generation of devices and browsers. The graphics are crisper and sharper, the sounds are richer and the gameplay is completely fresh. Of course, the classic bonus features such as Wheel of Fortune and Pick-a-Gift have retained their place in this new iteration.

The brand was named, ‘Slot Provider of the Year’ at the EGR B2B Awards and has already released several new blockbuster games this year, such as Gold King that has gained big success since the day of its release. Johan Tornqvist, the company’s CEO, sees a huge opportunity in making both quality new output and restoring the games of the past to their former glory: “Slot Provider of the Year is a major recognition for us as a company and it shows us, and the industry, that we are a company heading in the right direction. I believe that part of the reason that we won this award is not only because of the new innovations that we are releasing, but also because we are making sure our partners, and their players, can continue to supply and enjoy all their favourite games, past and present. It’s important to look forward, but we don’t want to leave too much behind.”
