SGC And Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz Sign Supply Deal

Provider of leading casino technologies, digital products and iGaming services Scientific Games Corporation (SGC), will continue to provide Rheinland-Pfalz Lottery with instant games and Cooperative Services Program until 2023. The new five-year contract with ’s southwest state of four million residents will include provision of games to lottery central gaming systems, retailer terminals and sports books.

During a 30-year-old partnership with Lotto, SG managed to increase instant product sales by 382% thanks to a wide range of services like marketing, consulting, design and production of software! The Lottery caters products to a network of over 930 retailers, whereas Scientific currently supplies around 70 percent of lottery games worldwide. After launching their first secure instant game in 1974, many operators recognized the group as the leading provider of end-to-end gaming solutions whose offerings can now be found on over 150 lotteries including those in all 16 German states.

Senior Vice President at Scientific, John Schulz, is once again honored that the company has won Lotto’s trust adding that the new partnership can only contribute to an even greater success and development of services. Upon winning in the Europe-wide tender for istering the platform, Matthias Muller, managing director emphasized the significance of SG’s logistics infrastructure, resources and know-how, as well as the company’s immense experience in creating pristine gaming solutions.

With approximately 8,400 employees worldwide, Nevada-based company today specializes in integrated technology platforms, engaging game content and high-end casino services with exquisite marketing programs. Scientific Games acquired NYX for $775 million in September 2017 and projects a 7% leap in revenues this year reaching a total of $3.09 billion.
